Dow Microbial Control

AOS Certified Whole Room Sanitization from Dow Microbial Control

What is Advanced Oxidation System (AOS) Certified technology?

Advanced Oxidation System (AOS) Certified technology from Dow Microbial Control turns air and water into a powerful sanitizer to control surface and airborne pathogens. Able to eradicate microbes from hard-to-reach problem areas–even in dry environments–the automated system will sanitize your entire production space safely and economically.

How does AOS Certified technology work?

AOS Certified technology uses 1) ambient air to generate ozone and 2) water to provide a humid atmosphere that together produce one of the fastest and most effective penetrative whole room sanitization systems.

What makes AOS Certified technology so effective for whole room sanitization?

Using AOS Certified technology, the sanitizer formed goes deep into every corner, penetrating even hidden areas in equipment, drains, air conditioning vents and fabrics.

What does "certified" treatment mean?

Our proprietary monitoring and controls are used to verify the validated treatment cycle is delivered. At the close of each treatment cycle, Dow Microbial Control will review all treatment criteria, measure it against requirements and then certify the treatment.

What types of AOS Certified technology systems are available?

Dow Microbial Control AOS Certified technology is custom engineered for your specific application and production areas. All systems are simple to use and feature advanced diagnostics to monitor, control, record and certify each treatment.

What is ozone?

Ozone is a molecule composed of three atoms of oxygen. Two atoms of oxygen form the basic oxygen molecule—the oxygen we breathe that is essential to life. The third oxygen atom can detach from the ozone molecule and react with microorganisms. It is this ability that makes ozone an excellent choice for whole room sanitizing.

In what ways is AOS Certified technology better for the environment?

Using AOS Certified technology for whole room sanitation does not require the storage or handling of harsh chemicals. The sanitizer is produced as needed and dissipates, leaving nothing but a sanitized environment behind.
